Privacy Policy

GroupChatTruth is a playful friend-rated personality app. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to contact us about your data.

Last updated: July 3, 2026

What we collect

  • Creator account details from Google login, such as name, email, profile image, and account identifier.
  • Profile setup details creators provide, such as display name, optional group context, and avatar configuration.
  • Public friend quiz submissions, including the selected 0-4 answers for each active question.
  • Link, report, and response metadata, such as created time, expiry time, response counts, and report results.

Anonymous friend responses

Friend quiz submissions are anonymous by default in the current product flow. Friends do not need to create an account to answer a public quiz link.

We still store the answer data needed to calculate the creator's report. We do not show individual friend identities in the creator report.

How the app uses data

  • To create and manage creator quiz links.
  • To calculate friend-rated mythical creature reports.
  • To protect dashboards and reports behind the creator's Google account.
  • To block inactive or expired quiz links.

Link expiry

Public quiz links are designed to expire after 48 hours. Expired links should stop accepting new friend submissions, while creators may still see their account history and any unlocked reports.

Service providers

GroupChatTruth uses Supabase for authentication and database storage, and Vercel for hosting and application delivery. These providers process data so the app can run.

Data requests and contact
